What’s a Swap Hunt? When two members agree to take each other on a Hunt, fishing trip or any outdoor activity. Example: Joe Archer owns a hunting camp, and would like to go on a Goose Hunt. John J. Arrow is a goose hunter and has access to blinds and/or a duck boat. Joe and John contact each other and set it up. Joe goes Goose Hunting with John and John goes to hunting camp with Joe. It’s that simple. This club activity will help both new and existing members get some experience in the outdoors, develop new friendships and enjoy some camaraderie from within the club. Important to note is that this is not only for hunters. Non-hunters can get in on this also. If you want to go on a fishing trip and another member has camping gear, perhaps you can work out a fishing/camping trip. So, go ahead and send in your sign up card. You may finally get to go on that deep sea trip you always talked about or that pheasant hunt you’ve dreamed of! See below for instructions. How to sign up for a Swap Hunt: What Happens next: We will put your request for a Swap Hunt in the club newsletter (The Arrow) and also post it on the Suffolk Archers Web site under the Bow Hunting Committee pages. Where to mail your sign up card: |
